WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
Make sure to bring plenty of sunscreen. The sun is powerful and sunscreen is expensive on the island.
WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?

Yes, you will need a passport to visit Aruba. Upon landing, you will need to complete an ED form which is available online to pre-fill (or) the airline will provide one for you upon arrival.
WILL I NEED TO RENT A CAR?
Although not necessary, many visitors do rent a car for some or all of their stay. There are multiple car rental agencies on the island, many of which have offices at the airport upon arrival. Please email us if you would like additional recommendations for rentals.
DOES ARUBA HAVE TAXI OR RIDE SHARE SERVICE?
Aruba has a large taxicab network. Taxis are not metered, but the rates are set by the government. Tipping is allowed and appreciated. Uber and other ride share apps are not available in Aruba at this time.
WILL MY CELL PHONE WORK?

It is recommended that you check with your US cell phone provider prior to arrival in Aruba to determine cost for your plan. Aruba has extensive cell and WIFI networks.
SHOULD I BRING A POWER ADAPTER?
AC/DC power available everywhere, there is no need to bring adaptors.
CAN I DRINK THE TAP WATER?
Aruba has excellent water quality form the tap due to its desalinization plant. You do not have to avoid drinking the water, bathing or consuming food washed form the tap.
IS THERE A HOSPITAL?
Aruba has an excellent hospital located near the low rise hotels. There are now multiple Urgent Care centers throughout the island, similar to those in the US. It is recommended that you go to the Urgent Care for any routine, non emergency medical needs. Also, it is recommended that you pre purchase international medical care and evacuation insurance, as most US health plans and Medicare do not cover you outside of the US.
